Storage technologies observed in the code

This is a technical inventory, not a legal classification. Names and behavior can depend on service or deployment configuration.

Interface language cookie

The vetrivo_ui_locale cookie stores the language selected in the browser for one year; the code sets Path=/ and SameSite=Lax, with Secure only over HTTPS.

Account language preference

For signed-in users, the interface preference is read and saved through /api/ui-locale-preference. The application code does not handle it as a cookie.

Better Auth session

Better Auth uses a cookie-based session. The project application code does not specify the cookie name, lifetime, or flags.

Theme preference

next-themes stores the theme preference in browser localStorage; the project also enables the system theme as the default.

Generator notice acknowledgement

After sign-in, the browser stores acknowledgement of the generator’s first-use notice in localStorage and associates it with the account.

Conditional Polsia analytics beacon

If POLSIA_ANALYTICS_SLUG is set for the deployment, the code creates or reuses polsia_vid in localStorage and sends an image beacon to Polsia. It uses POLSIA_API_BASE_URL or, if unset, https://polsia.com.
